Joe DiStefano
Joe's accent gives away the fact that he is from 'away'. Coming to Maine from New York by way of Iowa and Texas, his background includes programming, systems integration, and project management.
After long-term stints with the Long Island Rail Road and Greyhound, Joe tried his hand at consulting and liked it! When the decision to stay in Texas or move back east with his budding family, Maine was at the top of the list as it had the whole "quality of life" thing and was close(r) to home.
Being a technologist in Maine was harder than he thought, but was finally successful in being hired by the old Acadia.Net as the manager for the web development team. Later Prexar acquired Acadia.Net and several other ISPs growing the team, but after a while Joe, Scott, and Kelly decided to venture out on their own, forming Sephone Internet Solutions.
Joe is a graduate from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, Long Island (pronounced "lawn guyland"), New York. He enjoys skiiing, boating and family outings. A good cigar and a singlemalt scotch are also enjoyed at times.
Joe lives in Veazie with his wife Laura of 20 years and their two children. You will find them at their camp in the summer and at a local hockey rink in the winter.

Scott Traylor
Scott Traylor, mild mannered Web Professional, hides a secret deep in his heart. Whenever the small are at risk, whenever the weak are unable, or whenever something is just plain out of reach... that is the time for — Ladderman!
Having unwittingly consumed a Twinkie exposed to water — NJ tap water — our young hero was transformed forever! No longer an ordinary boy, his genetically mutated self now possessed Zoom-Vision, capable to seeing the clutter atop a 'fridge from 10 feet away; Lead Nerves, able to withstand decibels known to shatter concrete; and Elongo-Cells, making him freakishly tall.
Confronted by his altered self, Scott went into hiding, went to college, went to Grad school, then went to more Grad school... created his secret identity, and re-emerged — devoted to the cause of Righteousness and Good (mostly).
Yes...
Taller than the longest ever recorded ball python!
More powerful than a key lime pie!
Able to reach things on the top shelf without help!
Look! Up by the ceiling!
It's a beam! It's a scaffold! It's... LADDERMAN!

Kelly Cotiaux
Kelly is a native "maine-iac" and graduated from Falmouth High School. After, she attended and graduated from Franklin Pierce College, where she shocked them all and graduated with honors. Alan Whitney
Alan's first web development project was in the summer of 1996, a tool for his fantasy football league, while still in high school. Although so much has changed since then, Alan still finds web development fun and rewarding. Joining Sephone in the fall of 2002, he continues to learn new things daily, and enjoys bringing latest web advancements to Sephone's clients.
When not at Sephone, Alan generally can be found at one of three places: at his home in Passadumkeag with his wife Erica and dog Zoe, at Lincoln Christian Fellowship, or enjoying the great outdoor recreation the state of Maine offers. In the spring, in a canoe, in the summer camping or hiking in Baxter State Park, in the fall, deer and partridge hunting, in the winter, rabbit and varmint hunting. Alan is a traditional Mainer, born and raised in Lincoln.

Justin Russell
Justin is a University of Maine graduate with a BA in New Media and minors in psychology and computer science. A decade's worth of experimentation in Web development led him to Sephone in 2005, where he now leads or contributes to a variety of Sephone's development work. A chronic early adopter, Justin frequently plays around with the newest stuff on the Web. He especially enjoys studying how people interact with information and how current technology will affect society in the future.
When he's not spending time online, Justin enjoys traveling around Maine and capturing photographs of lighthouses, landscapes, concerts, plays, and pretty much everything else. You also may find him hiking or biking the trails of Acadia National Park.

Dara Coulton
Dara's interest in computers and the web began at age 13 when a friend taught her to hand-code her own website in HTML. Ah, the good ol' days of animated dancing bananas and MIDIs. From that point on her interest in web development and graphic design continued to manifest itself, eventually leading to a position with Sephone Internet Solutions in 2006. At Sephone, Dara is involved in both design and development projects, as well as contributing "Tips and Tricks" for the Sephone blog and assisting the company's clients with questions.
Dara was born and raised in Scituate, MA and received her BA from Wheaton College in Norton, MA. (I guess you could say she's a former "Masshole" and has slowly been coverting to a "Maine-iac.") After graduating in 2003 she moved to Maine to be closer to family and friends. She currently lives in Bangor and enjoys continuing to learn about web development, knitting, vacationing at her remote cabin in eastern Maine, and spending time with her boyfriend and their 4 cats.

John McKim
John is a web designer for Sephone and has been employed by them since 2007. He is a graduate of New England School of Communications with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication with a concentration in Digital/Web Media.
If he is not in school or at work, John enjoys playing guitar (preferably acoustic), listening to music, and taking photographs.
For some inexplicable reason everyone at Sephone calls him Dan.
